GP Registrars

GP Training Information for Patients:

Manor Medical Practice is an accredited practice for the training of doctors intending to become General Practitioners.

Those doctors training to become GPs are called GP Registrars or STs (Speciality Trainees). All of these doctors are under supervision from one of the Partners in the practice.

The GP Registrar is a fully qualified and registered doctor who has passed out of medical school and completed their 2 years of preregistration in hospital. They have been admitted as a fully registered doctor on the GMC list

If you are seeing a GP Registrar you can expect to receive the quality of service you would from your own GP. If you have any concerns please mention this to a member of staff.
